The Tourist, Yogi Bear, How Do You Know, Venture Bros., Skyline...

This week, topping out the big theatrical releases on DVD is The Tourist, starring Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie (btw, between the two of them, who do you think is the bigger movie star?  I'm going with Johnny Depp).  Extras include an audio commentary from Director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck (yes, that's his real name), "A Gala Affair" featurette, "Bringing Glamour Back," and an outtake reel.  The Blu-ray/DVD combo includes a few additional extras.

Next up is the live action/CG family movie Yogi Bear, starring the voices of Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake, with Tom Cavanagh and Anna Faris as real people.  This one is released in several versions:  Single-disc DVD, Two-disc DVD, Single-disc Blu-ray, Two-disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo, and a 3D Blu-ray/DVD Combo (the last two also include a digital copy of the film).  Extras on each disc vary, but the Two-disc DVD is the only one that also includes the 1994 TV special Yogi the Easter Bear, and it's at a great price, too.

Wrapping up the theatrical features are the romantic comedy How Do You Know (starring Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson, and Jack Nicholson) and the alien invasion flick Skyline, starring Eric Balfour and Donald Faison.

In TV land, The Venture Bros., Season 4, Vol. 2 is released, as is Season 2 of the '80s detective romantic dramedy Scarecrow and Mrs. King.

Finally, new Blu-ray editions of two beloved films:  First, the coming-of-age drama Stand By Me, now featuring a "25 Years Later" picture-in-picture commentary retrospective with director Rob Reiner and actors Corey Feldman and Wil Weaton.  Second is the tribute concert to the late George Harrison (which took place one year after his death), Concert for George.
